Chris Yates, the President of Business Marketing Services, has developed an array of internet marketing strategies that can work for any business, on or offline.
There are a few ways to make money from a website:
- Websites for Ecommerce (Selling Online)– This is selling a product or service to someone through your website. In order to make this happen, you will need to be able to take payments through your website with a payment form or shopping cart and a merchant account.
- Websites for Generating Leads– Typically a website can generate a lead for you by someone calling in, emailing you, or filling out a form on a website. Then you can have a salesperson follow up to take an order either by phone or in person. If you are an offline business, this method works best for you!
- Websites for on-site advertising– This is when you sell space on your website for someone to advertise. This strategy is most effective for high-traffic websites.
- Websites for click-thru advertising– These websites make money when someone simply clicks a link on your site, or when someone clicks a link on your site and buys something from the site you linked to.
Once you have your website and money-making system in place, its time to get some traffic or, in other words, potential buyers, to your site and not only get them to buy but keep them buying. This is where the Internet Profit Builder comes into play.
